Center of the Universe!

The universe contains billions of galaxies, each with billions of stars, most of which  have numerous planets, the total of which in the universe must number in the quadrillions, so millions must be in the Goldilocks zone, habitable, by our standards at least, so there almost certainly are many that harbour life in some form, including intelligent creatures.

According to Christianity, the omnipotent, omniscient, immortal creator of this unimaginably vast collection of matter is so concerned about the beliefs of a tribe of semi-intelligent bipeds on one tiny planet circling a small star in an arm of a medium sized galaxy, that he visited them in the guise of a member of this race, and even allowed his physical body to die in order to bestow immortality on them, if they professed to believing in him/her/it. At least this is what one of the largest religious sects among these hominids believes. Why this being would do such an unlikely thing is hard to comprehend. Could it really mean this group is that important?  This sect also believes that this being exhibits the emotions of love, hate, jealousy and compassion which are characteristics of this peculiar race, and even looks like them .  What crazy assumptions.

It seems to me that, if these primitive tribesmen really knew and actually comprehended the enormous vastness vastness of the universe, they may have thought twice before attributing its creation to their God.
